I can't be anything other than who I am. Realistically, I cannot do THAT much to alter how my body looks, and my technique is what it is (though of course I am always working to improve). In this industry, I really just have to remember to breathe and wait until I either ... A) become best friends with a choreographer who decides to hire me (clearly I should consider infiltrating some of those bars in the Theater district)... or B) land some great part by incredibly improbable Katherine McPhee on the TV show Smash-esque luck.
Until that time, I'll just keep going to auditions, keep taking class, focus on having fun, take lots of baths and pop Advil as necessary. Life is too short, may as well enjoy it as much as possible.
